What is White Elephant Trust?
White Elephant Trust creates opportunities for the rangatahi of Ōtautahi to do cool stuff and express their unique wairua. We do this by facilitating exciting, fun programmes and events in our space at Phillipstown Hub.
Our kaupapa is to give young people the opportunity to be a part of a community, share, learn and discover new skills, and a place to make their own. There's a range of rangatahi and all ages programmes on offer, such as a a hip hop night and a DJ school. Check out our programmes page for more information. Or if you have an idea for a programme in your kete that you’d like to run, get in touch for a korero.
White Elephant Trust was founded in 2005 by a group of DJ’s who wanted to create safe events and projects for young people. Since 2014 more than 17,000 have taken part in our events and programmes.
